Dr. Rajesh Sanghi has over 35 years of experience in the IT & Telecommunication sector. He has worked in several segments such as defence, ISV’s, MNC’s, systems integrators and telecom solutions provider industry. After dedicating 20 years in service to the country as part of the Indian Air Force, Dr. Sanghi worked with some of the leading telecom and IT companies including the likes of IBM, Usha Com in a variety of leadership roles. He was the Chief Architect and Lead for IBM in Airtel’s transformation of major IT systems. Dr. Sanghi was the first IBM India employee to win IBM's Gerstner Award & Corporate award in the 100 year of history of the company. It is the highest team award of IBM worldwide. Since leaving IBM, Dr. Sanghi has invested in and is a mentor to a number of start-ups. He has received his Ph.D. and M.Tech from IIT, Madras. He is also credited for building the first private STPI in Noida, Logix Park.

Ison Innovations and Incubations [I3] was started as an initiative to build and nurture technology focused companies by two industry veterans, Ramesh Awtaney and Vivek Gupta. It is subsequently strengthened by Joining of Dr. Rajesh Sanghi as another promoter. I3 has launched many initiatives in India, Africa and Middle East such as Ison Infotel India, Ison Infotel Mauritius, Mara-Ison Technology, Ison BPO, Momark and Mara Ison Connectiva. Next, I3 is setting up customer Internet initiative for Africa and Middle East with aim to explore exciting B2C opportunities in consumer Internet and E Comm Space.
